Used Pianos
Kimball Spinet
(SN: S06128 -- built 1977)
Perfect for a beginner or the occasional player.

Plays and sounds good, however, as a spinet, it is an entry level piano and if you are super, super picky (or a more serious player) this piano will likely not meet your expectations. I would encourage you to look for a good quality studio or grand piano).

$575 (includes tax and local delivery*)
Includes 1 yr limited warranty on major structural only. (Pinblock and bridges)

* Local Delivery 25 miles included. Beyond that, an out of service area fee of $4/mi one way will be charged.

I will move fairly easy moves only (what I can access  with 5' or 8' ramps). If a more difficult move, ie: flight of stairs, etc, I will deduct $50 off the price of the piano and refer you to other movers who will charge you their going rate to pick up from my shop and deliver to your residence).

To keep cost low on this piano, and save me a return trip for tuning, the piano will be tuned BEFORE delivery. If after the 3 week acclimation period you are still satisfied with how it sounds you can save a tuning fee and wait until it is due for it's yearly tuning to have me return to tune. However, if you find it needs tuning after 3 weeks, I will come tune it at a discounted rate of $100 (a $25 savings) plus any applicable mileage ($2/mi all miles over 40, one way). Discounted rate good for 60 days.

 - Case is in decent, but not great shape. See close-up case pictures below.
(Potted plant rings on lid, scratches from different style knobs that were on it and had come loose. New knobs of different type have been installed. Small chunk of veneer broke off on right, lower back corner. Another small piece missing just above the right leg.

 - Semi-matching, formica top bench included (not original to the piano). Bench is about the same color, but different sheen because of the formica, and it has different style legs.
 - Keys are in excellent, but not perfect shape. Very minor blemishes, unnoticeable unless looking very closely. No chips.
- No cracks in soundboard
- Bridges are good.

- Tuned to A-440 and sounds good. Holds tuning well.
 - Action has had a basic reconditioning (hammers shaped, screws tightened, action lubed, etc.)
- Action has been fully regulated.

Note: Pianos you find on your favorite marketplace lists may be half the price, but most of them need a considerable amount of work. This piano has had many hours of maintenance done by a trained piano technician, whereas other pianos sold by owner may not have had.

- This piano is ready to play your favorite songs!

Will I buy your piano or take that free piano off your hands? Possibly, but not likely.

Currently, I have a very small shop and only have room to work on a couple at a time.  From time to time I will consider purchasing a piano to fix up, but for the most part, I just don't have the shop/storage room to take on too many pianos right now.

If your piano is in good shape at a good price, feel free to contact me and I'll see if I have the space.  If I don't, sometimes I know  of someone who may be looking for a piano to purchase, so it never hurts to ask.
